Local Voices

This blog-style section of our website is where people from the Cincinnati Tri-State region can share their own personal stories about how circumcision has impacted their lives, regrets, lessons learned, minds changed, intact successes, funny surprises, or just overall experiences in the intactivism movement or raising intact children. Our goal is to reinforce that circumcision complications are real and quite common, and that the "intact generation" is also happening right here in our hometown, not just some far-off land in a distant state.

Like many people, my early understanding of circumcision was limited and sugar-coated. That has changed dramatically, starting with a simple diagram many years ago in high school anatomy class. I now strongly advocate for leaving boys intact.
